South Nepean Muslim community (SNMC)

South Nepean Muslim Community is a faith-based, volunteer-driven organization serving Muslims in Ottawa’s south end. The community is centered around worship, education, and social connection, providing a welcoming space for individuals and families to grow spiritually and engage meaningfully with one another.

Project overview

SNMC required a digital presence that clearly reflected its role as an active and growing community hub. Existing online content did not fully communicate the range of services, programs, and activities offered, nor did it make it easy for community members and newcomers to stay informed and engaged.

The challenge was to present essential information—such as community services, educational initiatives, and events—in a clear, organized, and approachable way while maintaining a sense of warmth and inclusivity.

Our approach

We created a structured and easy-to-navigate website that supports SNMC’s mission and day-to-day needs. Content was organized to help visitors quickly understand the community’s offerings and find relevant information, whether they are regular members or first-time visitors.

The final website serves as a central communication platform for SNMC, strengthening engagement, improving accessibility to information, and supporting the community’s continued growth. It reflects SNMC’s commitment to faith, service, and connection within Ottawa’s Muslim community.
