Family Movie Trust Fund is a registered charitable organization in the Ottawa region dedicated to making quality cinema and live entertainment accessible to families, especially those facing financial hardship. By providing affordable and complimentary film experiences and community events, the trust supports inclusive family engagement and shared cultural experiences.

Project overview

Family Movie Trust Fund needed a digital presence that clearly communicated its mission and the value of community cinema experiences for all families. Prior to the redesign, the online presence did not effectively showcase how the organization supports underserved families through accessible entertainment, partnerships, and volunteer involvement.

The key objective was to create a platform that explains the trust’s purpose compellingly, outlines how its programs benefit the community, and encourages local engagement and support from donors, partners, and volunteers.

Our approach

We redesigned the organization’s website to present its mission, activities, and community impact with clarity and purpose. Information was structured to highlight the trust’s commitment to providing inclusive entertainment experiences, supporting local families, and fostering community connection through cinema and stage events.

The resulting platform positions Family Movie Trust Fund as a trusted and welcoming charity, helping visitors understand how its work enriches lives, promotes social wellbeing, and strengthens community ties.
