Ostomy Canada Society is a national non-profit organization dedicated to supporting people living with an ostomy and their families. The organization provides education, peer support, advocacy, and community connection to help individuals navigate life before and after ostomy surgery with confidence and dignity.

Project overview

Ostomy Canada Society needed a digital presence that clearly communicated its mission and the breadth of support available to ostomates across Canada. The existing online experience did not always make it easy for visitors to find educational resources, local support groups, events, or opportunities to get involved.

The challenge was to create a website that serves a wide audience — including new ostomates, long-time members, caregivers, and healthcare partners — while remaining approachable, informative, and supportive.

Our approach

We designed a clear and structured website that organizes information around the real needs of the ostomy community. Content was arranged to make educational materials, peer support options, advocacy initiatives, and community programs easy to discover and understand.

The final platform acts as a central hub for connection and support, reinforcing Ostomy Canada Society’s role as a trusted national resource. By prioritizing clarity and accessibility, the website helps individuals and families feel informed, supported, and empowered throughout their ostomy journey.
